I am not a
straightforward
person to summarise.

And I've stopped trying to be. What follows is the honest version — the strategic mind and the gypsy spirit, the rigour and the restlessness, the 30 years of accumulation and what I'm finally doing with it.

Books read. Still going.

I'm a business strategist who has spent most of my adult life reading, thinking, travelling, and accumulating. That's the best word for it — accumulating. Ideas, frameworks, patterns, perspectives. My Clifton Strengths profile makes a lot of sense to me: Futuristic, Learner, Input, Strategic, Intellection. I have always taken in more than I can output. Until now.

AI is the first tool that lets me output at the same pace I think. That changes everything — not just about how I work with clients, but about what becomes possible for the next chapter. The empire I'm building isn't a fantasy. It's a logical consequence of finally having the infrastructure to match the thinking.

"I don't just manage change — I architect it."

I sit at the intersection of purpose-driven leadership and hard-nosed commercial thinking. I've been shaped by leaders who changed the world through moral courage, entrepreneurs who built empires through sheer audacity, and thinkers who understand that technology is only as powerful as the humans wielding it. I help organisations identify where markets are going before the crowd arrives, build the cultures that can survive the hard things, and harness AI not as a trend but as a genuine strategic edge.

My path has never been straight. My Human Design is the Right Angle Cross of the Unexpected — and that's proven to be one of the more accurate things anyone has ever told me about myself. My life works out in the most unexpected ways, and I've learned to trust that. The best things that have happened to me weren't planned. They were received.

I'm an Aquarius, an emotional projector in Human Design — a 2/4 (the Hermit and the Opportunist). I need solitude and depth to do my best work. I need a strong network to bring the right opportunities in. I'm not built for cold outreach and hustle culture. I'm built to be recognised for what I see, and then invited to help. This website is part of that. Becoming visible enough that the right people find me.

I'm in the early stages of building the consulting practice. One paid client. Looking for three more. And behind that, a vision for something much larger — a strategy, media and publishing empire that uses AI the way no one has quite done yet. I'm not hiding that ambition. It's part of who I am.

The strategic mind and the gypsy spirit

The Strategist

This is where I thrive in my masculine energy — the rigour, the frameworks, the commercial precision. I love the satisfaction of a complex problem reduced to a clear path forward. I love the discipline of it.

  • AI-powered strategy methodology
  • Market timing and chasm-crossing instinct
  • Operational precision and process design
  • Commercial thinking without apology
  • Built to scale — systems over hustle

The Hermit Author

This is the side that ultimately wants to write, to disappear into ideas, to travel with my family and turn experience into something worth reading. The creative life has always been there underneath the strategy. AI is what finally lets both exist at once.

  • Writing, publishing, long-form thinking
  • The gypsy spirit — world travel, broad living
  • Storytelling as a strategic asset
  • Building a publishing arm through alchemy.pink
  • Sharing 30 years of accumulated knowledge

These aren't two separate people. They're two phases of one person — and I'm currently in the transition between them. The strategy practice is building the infrastructure. The author emerges when it's ready.

What I actually believe

Not values statements. Not mission copy. Things I would say in a room if someone pushed me hard enough to be specific.

01

On AI: it's a strategic amplifier, not a shortcut

AI doesn't make you strategic. Clarity makes you strategic. AI just lets you get there faster — if you already know the right questions to ask. Most businesses are using it as a time-saver. The ones who use it as a thinking partner will be the ones who win.

02

On strategy: most problems are clarity problems in disguise

When a team doesn't know what to prioritise, they prioritise everything — which means nothing moves. The strategist's job is to make the choice obvious. Not to have all the answers. To ask the right questions until the answer becomes undeniable.

03

On leadership: vulnerability and commercial precision are not opposites

We've spent too long treating empathy and rigour as though they belong to different people. The leaders who build the most resilient organisations are the ones who refuse to choose between them. Psychological safety is a competitive edge, not a soft initiative.

04

On consulting: the goal is always to make myself unnecessary

I'm not building dependency. I'm building capability. The measure of a good engagement is that you could run it again without me. Great strategy outlasts the strategist — and the only honest consulting model is one built on that truth.

05

On the unexpected: the best things were never planned

My life has always worked out in unexpected ways. Not in spite of the lack of a rigid plan — because of it. I set up structures that let the unexpected land. The Cross of the Unexpected isn't an obstacle to navigate around. It's the whole point.
